I currently run Cisco’s world class platforms and cloud services that support our global sales teams. This includes the industry leading dCloud service, in which any Cisco or partner seller can access the entire Cisco portfolio and run real, live products from our cloud platform. In addition, I lead some of the finest pre-sales engineers who create and deliver solutions that support our proof of concept labs, proof of value motions and related services to scale.
In this role I led the dCloud team at Cisco that designs, develops and operates a globally scalable platform as a service (PaaS) offering intended to support Cisco sellers, partner sellers and Cisco customers with a variety of cloud-based lab, training, demonstration and on-site proof-of-concept content. The software engineering organizations included UI, API and Automation core teams as well as engineering groups across all Cisco technology areas.
During this period of time I lead various parts of the collaboration portfolio for the EMEAR geography at Cisco. This included our enterprise calling products and contact centre suite. In this role I translated sales and customer requirements and represented them back to product development in the US.
As a sales engineer at Cisco I supported account teams selling collaboration and contact centre solutions throughout EMEAR. This role was key in influencing my career later with relevant on the ground sales experience and direct customer engagements.
